釜山機張郡古里核電廠，上月9日晚上8時許，為一號機組發電機保護斷電器進行測試時，突然停電，緊急柴油發電機亦無啟動，令核電廠停電12分鐘。

調查指，是員工操作失誤導致，廠方在前日才向政府報告，被指有意隱瞞事故。

根據規定，核電廠一旦停電，須立即發出白色警報，並向原子能安全技術院匯報。當局已即時下令核電廠停工，調查事故。
